Indian cricket team is not a national team

In these days Indian Cricket Team is doing so well in Cricket. But do you know Indian Cricket Team is not an official team. Yes, it is true.
All the activities of Indian team recognized and managed by BCCI. BCCI is not a national federation. Actually, it is a charitable organization which is registered by TAMIL-NADU societies registration act. It means Team INDIA is not an official cricket team. Indian Cricket team is only a franchise owned by private capitalistic body called as BCCI. So technically the Indian Cricket Team represents only the BCCI.

BCCI was formed in 1928. ICC recognized it as the official representative of INDIA. But it was by ICC not by INDIAN GOVERNMENT. In-fact BCCI using the word INDIA without government permission, which is ILLEGAL. In 1929, when 2 members of Calcutta cricket club visited London to attend the imperial cricket conference(where all official team comes) but they could not have been considered official representatives because actually they were not representing the India.

Next question comes in mind why don't cricket is not played in Olympics. International Olympics Committee wants to organize T-20 cricket in Olympic games. For this IOC(international Olympics committee) tried to convenes ICC(International Cricket Council), Now when everything is going in correct way. BCCI is not ready to accept these kind of offers given by IOC and ICC. BCCI is one of the biggest economic cricket board. Reason behind not accepting offers of IOC and ICC is, BCCI thinks if green light is given to cricket in Olympics they'll loose all control of all Indian Cricket. This is why BCCI not accepting applications of cricket in Olympics.

In India, Cricket is played in three formats. Test Match, One day match and T-20 match. Test match is played for 5 days. In which each team plays two innings. One day match is played for one day with limited 50 overs. Facility of Power-Play is also provided to batting team. T-20 match is played only of 20 overs. All these formats have been played under BCCI organizations. BCCI manages various cricket franchises such as Indian Under-19, Indian Women Cricket team, Ranjhi Trophy, IPL and many more.

Indian Cricket teams have archive lot of achievements. Indian cricket team is 2 times ICC world cup champion. 1st cricket team to win ICC T-20 world-cup. Currently holding no.1 position in test team and one day international format.
